My father's birthday was yesterday. I got through the day okay; I was only sad for a little while late last night. True to form, it took me a few minutes to remember that's why I was feeling sad.
The weekend was pretty good. I read an article in the New Yorker about investigation into the causes of A.L.S., Alzheimer's and related neurotangle illnesses. There's some evidence that algae blooms may be partly to blame. Just another thing to be concerned about.
I'm really not feeling like writing today for some reason.

The birthday is hard. The deathday is even harder, I think. For me, anyway. I'm sure for different reasons, but I understand the deceased part in my own little way.
Glad you made it through okay.
