Breast cancer fact of the day:
Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in US women, with 211,300 invasive and 55,700 in situ cases expected in 2003, accounting for nearly one in every three cancers diagnosed. It is also the second leading cause of death in US women; 39,800 deaths are expected in 2003.

My master plan was to write about my wig tomorrow, but after reading your site, and seeing OctoberisPink.org and Blogography I feel as if it is my time to honor this truly significant month. I figure my griping about a wig can hold one more day...hope your day is getting better.

I sure hope that they come up with quicker medical testing, and cures in our lifetimes.
